Loaiza Family, New Family, New Fun

I sometimes am as awed by the families I meet, that I really makes me thankful for my job. I meet this amazing new family from a friend that I photographed a while ago in another state. I didn't realize at the time though how amazing sweet and loving this family was going to be.

I was really excited to finally photograph my first "new family" in San Diego. They asked to go to Balboa Park which I hadn't seen in 6 years. The park itself was so amazing. I felt that I could have photographed the park itself for days. But my family was what made everything so amazing. They truly were so loving and were so fun to watch. I had a lot of fun just watching them interact with their handsome baby boy. He was so full of smiles and was just to cute for words. I look forward to watching this amazing little boy grow up and continue to work with this amazing loving family.

Ruby's 4th Birthday

It is always so great to be able to photograph a child as they grow up. You really get a since of a child when you photograph them so many times. Ruby is one of those kids for me. I have been photographing her for the last almost 2 years :) She is always such a joy to photograph. She has so much energy and spunk and I love it! This year for her birthday pictures, since the weather had been bad, we decided to do an indoor session. She was very patient and had a blast. Mom decided as a reward, we should go let her splash through the rain puddles!! We got some really great pictures of her truly enjoying herself. Happy Birthday Ruby!

New Changes

Okay.. Soooo I know that I haven't blogged in forever. I mean its been almost a year! So, along with some new changes that will be happening this summer, I promise to start blogging more often!

My business is about to make a major change. As many of you know, I am married to a wonderful Marine. Well, we just got orders to San Diego, CA! We will be leaving for sunny Cali in June. So after Memorial Day weekend, I will no longer be booking summer sessions for the Virginia area. I will however be booking for Camp Pendleton to San Diego starting in July. So if you have anyone that you might know that needs a good photographer please feel free to pass on my information :)

I can't begin to describe how much my clients here in Virgina have meant to me. You all have been so wonderful and loyal to me. I greatly appreciate it. You guys are truly amazing! I will be back in Nov for a little while so I will make sure to let everyone know the dates :) I will miss you all dearly as my family embarks on this new journey with the Marine Corps.

Skaggs's Family

This special session reminds me of why I am so thankful for such wonderful clients. This family was referred to me by such a great customer of mine :) She has done many sessions for her own beautiful daughter, and now I was privileged to be able to take wonderful photos of one of her good friends and her family. This little girl was so precious. She loved to smile and be held by her parents. She truly was adorable and I am so lucky to have been referred to this wonderful family. Thank you Nicole for referring them, and thank you Debbie letting me have the opportunity to photograph you and your wonderful family :)

Ward Maternity Session

I felt so lucky to meet this incredible family. They were so sweet and were so loving to each other! Their little girl was so cute and was so sassy! She was posing non-stop for the camera :) I can't wait to see how adorable their little boy is! Congratulations :)
